Diploma in Mechanical, 10 Years experienced in petrochemical industries Turnarounds, Skilled to plan the rigging work, Prepare rigging equipment and understanding rigging plan. Third party certified, trained and experienced in hooking and slinging the load and in providing assistance to the crane operator. Familiar with load chart, heavy lift plans and procedures. Robust experience in inspection of lifting equipment before use and understanding of defects. Coordinates activities of workers engaged in all rigging and lifting activities, to ensure compliance with safety procedures and method statements. Assists and determines the proper method of lifting equipment for each assigned task. Assists with the set-up of crane. Rigging and lifting activities using the overhead crane. Directs crane operators to move equipment to and from work areas. Assist and support lifting equipment inspections by organizing and preparing slings, shackles, etc. for the Inspector.=. Maintain good condition for the lifting gears and return it back after use to the custodian in the received condition. Report any defect to the custodian of the gears. Acquire PTW certificate and carry out all the responsibilities of PTW Holder.
