Principal Responsibilities/Accountabilities
The principal responsibilities / accountabilities for the Lead Sulphur Recovery Process Engineer on the YK project will include for their assigned area:
Leading the safe Commissioning of Gas Treating and Sulphur Recovery Units
Safe Start-up and Stabilization of Gas Treating and Sulphur Recovery Units
Responsible for Meeting Pre-Start-Up Audit Requirements for Gas Treating and Sulphur Recovery
Responsible for compliance of Process Safety Fundamentals
Qualifications & Experience
A professional engineer with broad process engineering experience and deep expertise in design, construction and commissioning and start-up of Gas treatment and Sulphur recovery systems. Shall have an engineering degree (B.Sc. Eng. / BE/B.Tech.) either in Chemical or Process engineering as appropriate.
A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in Gas Treating and Sulphur Recovery facility design, commissioning and operation.
Extensive experience with Shell licensed Gas treatment and Sulphur Recovery technology
Experienced with troubleshooting and debottlenecking of GT /SR operations
Excellent communications and inter-personal / leadership skills are essential.
Team player, acting as a champion to break new grounds and self-motivated.
Ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders.
Proven track record of delivering results in challenging project environments.
Good knowledge of HSSE and a thorough understanding of risk management especially in Technical integrity, hydrocarbon production, operations, integrity and processes.
